What is important in this case is the lighting, the light falling on objects that our portraits. Generally, the shooting still life done by using artificial light, the flash for example. Set the light falling on the object in such a way to move them or how to move the pan, lift, rotate the object so that the lighting was found best. This is one of the natural ease of photographing inanimate objects in which to determine the direction of proper lighting on the object, the photographer just do it by sliding, lift or rotate.

In illuminating the object still life lamp position and number of lights used will determine the success of “turn on” inanimate objects are. Therefore determine its placement with respect to the object to be photographed correctly (look for the lift, rotate and move it) and do the basic theory of radiation exposure based on the correct and appropriate desire to achieve results as expected photographer.

Explanation of the Light and Metering

The professional photographer before taking pictures, they always measure light with a special tool called Light Meter. This tool is a light-sensitive sensor and can count the number of shutter and aperture values for various situations, either bright or dark. Necessarily the same light as measured by the light of the object (called the incident light) and become the benchmark how bright the ambient light at that time. That so-called metering, according to the professional photographer.

We are accustomed to using modern and versatile automatic camera certainly strange with similar gear. Because in the modern cameras are available that facilitate and metering facilities are also available various metering modes such as Center Weighted or Spot metering. DSLR cameras even capable of displaying a light meter scale on the LCD screen (and in the viewfinder) so as to indicate whether the shutter and aperture settings that we set in accordance with the measurement camera (see picture below).

For most cases, the camera is capable of metering equipment to replace the function light meter that expensive special. When using an automatic camera (camera phones, pocket cameras, etc.), metering the camera will start working when the LCD screen displays pictures and continuously evaluate the condition of light until the shutter button is pressed half. When the button is pressed half, metering will be locked (AE lock) and also auto focus (AF-lock) until the button is fully pressed before photos are taken. The majority of photos taken by automatic mode gives the right exposure. In some cases there are times when metering is missed, a little dark or too bright, we can compensate with the Exposure Compensation to the minus or plus.

Beginning at first birth of a word, PHOTOGRAPHY.

Beginning photography comes from the Greek.

Understanding what the Rules Of Thirds?

Before taking pictures, we must know what the rules of thirds.

What Rules of Thirds?
The basic principle behind the rule of thirds is to imagine the image into three (both horizontally and vertically) so you have 9 parts. As follows:

When you take a picture, imagine in the mind, you see the grid when you shoot. With the grid in mind 'the rules of thirds' now identifies four important parts of the image that you should consider placing points of interest in as you frame your picture
one example:

In learning how to use a third rule, the most important question to ask yourself is:

What places of interest in this shot?

Where do I put them?

Keeping in mind the rules of thirds when you edit your photos in the future. Post production editing tools today have good tools for cropping and reframing images so they fit within the rules. Experiment with some of your old pictures to see what the impact might be on your photo.
